I am interested in taking an online medical transcriptionist course mainly because I’m looking for work from home jobs but there are a few important reasons that I want to work from home. The main one is my precious perfect 11 month old daughter Andrea. I don’t want to miss out on important things in her life because I am stuck in an office somewhere. When my husband and I had her we decided that I would stay home with her but my husband works on commission as an engine machinist and because of the economy and the weather his work has been very slow and it is looking like I am going to have to find work and I think this would be everything that I want. The second reason I want to take this program and stay home to work is because I have two wonderful dogs (11 yr old black lab, 1 1/2 yr old great dame) and they do not like to be left alone. They are very well behaved dogs as long as someone is home with them. You leave them alone for more than a few hours and you come home to a destroyed house. My great dame Crystal is my daughter’s best friend so getting rid of them is not an option.

I always thought I would enjoy working somewhere in the Medical field but I knew I couldn’t be a nurse or a doctor and I think this is a valued profession in the Medical community. It is a very important and helpful career. I feel MT’s allow the doctors and nurses more valued time with the patients and that is a very important thing. My sister passed away from a metabolic disease when she was 7 and the connection she had with her doctors was amazing. They were able to spend special time with her and make her doctor visits as enjoyable as they could be because they weren’t always rushed. I feel MT’s help out with that a little and that is pretty special. SN:0MA9N2ESY

The problem is because of finances I cannot afford to take this course unless I receive some type of assistance in paying for it. I have been looking and I have not having any luck in finding a school that will allow me to take the course and pay the tuition once I finish and start working or that would let me start the course and start paying for it in a few months once my husband’s work picks up. I would be extremely appreciative if you would award me this scholarship. It would be the answer to my prayers. I have been wanting to go back to school for a while and I didn’t know what I wanted to do and now that I know what I want to do I can’t afford it. I want to be able to give my daughter all of the things that my family couldn’t give me when I was growing up and I think taking this course and working from home would give me the extra time and financial security that I knew were missing in my home growing up. The reason I want to become a medical transcriptionist is for the opportunity it offers, for example working at home. I am already in the medical field. I am a Registered Nurse looking forward to retirement in the near future, and that will give me an opportunity to get involved in another area of the medical profession, by allowing me to learn something new and helps the industry close the gap for a qualified online medical transcriptionist. Although the need is so wide, when I become qualified I will tell other people about the program, and highly encourage them because of my success. With every one spreading the news about the program and getting qualified, the need for qualified medical transcriptionist would be greatly improved.

Some of the advantages are working at home, and this gives me more flexibility. I have a lap top, so I can work even if I want to take a vacation. I can choose my hours. I can use the medical knowledge I already have, and learn any new information. I have a passion for learning, and this will be continuing education. No one knows everything, an encyclopedia does not have all the answers to life’s questions, and this a wonderful opportunity to learn another area of the medical field. This is a field that is constantly changing, so the opportunity to learn, have fun and get paid is in this program.

The reason why I am interesting is the opportunity it offers. Most people would love to have work from home jobs so they could spend more time with their family, a chance to own your own business. The salary is great, I can work in my PJs, and I can choose the days and hours I want to work. No boss to worry about, no traffic to worry about, and it is a field that I am already a part of, so it will not be hard for me to grasp the concept. Who wants to go to work when they do not have to? I can work at home even in bad weather. I think this opportunity is the best I have seen on the net for a long time. If this program is what it says it is, and I can afford it, I will be one of the next graduates. I am hoping that I qualify for the scholarship. SN:0MA9N2ESY

Like I said previously that I am A registered nurse with many years experience, but I do not claim to know everything there is to know in the medical field , so this will be a learning opportunity for me, it enhance my career, give me an opportunity to own my own business. What is more rewarding than one having his or her own business in a field that is greatly needed? Everyone is aware of the struggle the present economy has imposed on many of us. As a result many people have lost their jobs with not a new one in the near future. But if they have the knowledge or opportunity to have a medical transcription education that stress would not be a part of their life. That is why I would like the opportunity to have this education. That is why I am looking forward to get qualified, so I can start my own business.

During the past three years of my life a lot of things have changed for me. I got married and I moved to a new city to work at a new job that I loved so much that I thought I would settle down there. Then, with the downturn of the economy, my dream job came to an end. To say the least, I was devastated. After settling from the shock, I began to think about what type of career I could possibly build that was nearly recession proof. The first thing that came to mind was healthcare. I began doing some research as far as what aspects of the medical field I might enjoy and medical transcription jobs was the one at the top of the list. I knew that if I could find the training somewhere, I would excel at it.

The question then became the money, as unemployment benefits are barely enough to take care of the basic necessities, let alone allow me to go to school. Sure, the state may provide some money for furthering my education, but not without mountains of paperwork and time – time that I do not have to wait to get started advancing my education. There are a couple of advantages that I see to working as an MT. One, as I stated before, this is nearly recession proof. I am not getting any younger and I cannot bounce around from job to job for the rest of my days. Second, there is the flexibility to work from home. I have no children, but I do have an interest in work from home jobs. I do neglected/abused dog rescues. Some end up staying with me for their lives, others I try to adopt out to families. I currently have five here, one of which will live her days with me. I have one that needs some pretty extensive veterinarian attention so I am trying to figure out a way to come up with the funds for that as well. SN:0MA9N2ESY

One of the things that drew me to Future MT to possibly provide an education for me was the assistance in breaking into the field after graduation. Breaking into any field after graduation can be difficult, so the more help that is available, the better. I was also drawn to the opportunity to share my story to possibly win the scholarship that I desperately need. When thinking of that I would like to achieve in the next few years in the MT field, I first want to obtain my certification. Second, i want to get into the field and get some experience under my belt and eventually gain the confidence to start my own MT business. There seems to be a great deal of opportunity out there and I want to be able to grab on to it with both hands and know that the opportunity will not go away if the economy happens to plummet again. Perhaps, if I do well with it, then I can help someone else when they need it the most.

Working at home can be exhausting for a mom, and breaks might be rare. But you might like work from home jobs because you need the extra money and can’t afford to take breaks. But you can make breaks within the context of work.

Let’s look at this further. What we mean is that you may still work your full-time WAHM job, but you can add something in to break the monotony, or perhaps bring in extra money for holidays or to fill in a gap when your industry slows down temporarily.

These jobs likely won’t net you full-time income, but they are fun and interesting alternatives from the everyday work that you might be burnt from.

Letter writers

At Christmas, many WAHMs get work from home jobs by writing letters from Santa. These can be postmarked from the “North Pole” or they can be on special paper or they might include special treats from Santa. You can build a quick website and market it to other moms who might be interested in their child or children getting a letter from Santa.

There are also websites that specialize in writing letters for people who can’t do it themselves or who want to present a more polished image than their own writing might provide.

Sell products

While many moms make a full-time living as consultants selling everything from skincare products to food, you can do it on a part-time basis and work when you need some variety or extra cash.

If you decide to sell some items as a part-time gig, make sure you read the fine print carefully of the company you sign up with. Some have certain requirements you must meet on a monthly or quarterly basis. Make sure that even on a part-time basis you can meet that minimum requirement.

Mystery shopping

If you miss being out and about while working your WAHM job, you might want to pick up a mystery shopping job now and then. These can be quick (taking less than an hour) but can net you a few dollars and sometimes free products. Look online for mystery shopping companies that provide services to the kinds of business you would like to shop – you might do mystery shops at restaurants, apartment complexes or cell phone kiosks.

Cake bakers

Many stay at home moms turn into amateur bakers for weekend gatherings, from birthday parties to weddings. If you can bake very well and know or can learn, the art of cake decorating, you can make extra money at home selling decorated cakes.

This can be a nice break from your regular WAHM job, especially if your regular job is a solitary or sedentary affair. Making and decorating cakes can be creative, offering a nice rest from the demands of a less creative job.

Go outside the house

Working at home might be what you have always wanted to do and you are happy with all that it brings to your life. But you might have a desire to get out more. There are always options for very part-time jobs that serve you well in some way. For example, if you are a fitness freak, you might work just a few hours a week at the gym, netting you not only some extra money but likely a break on your gym fees. You might work just during the holidays at a department store.

The key to creating a WAHM arrangement that works for you is to work through any challenges you might face with working from home jobs. Picking up a now and then extra job might be the key to keeping yourself happy working at home.

As you think about the myriad of work from home jobs, you could be overlooking one important thing – you have skills that you can turn into a career. Office skills

If you have ever worked in an office, you might have a long list of beneficial qualities that would help in an at-home job. These include phone skills, customer service skills, software experience and perhaps even some marketing or public relations skills.

Office skills and experience (as well as any training you might also have) can be used in a variety of ways with at-home jobs. A lot of moms work at home as virtual assistants, for instance, which require customer service skills, software experience and basic office training.

Other moms with office skills will be able to work at home for a local business. To save money, local businesses are more likely these days to hire people to work from home to handle calls, mail and basic clerical duties.

Technical skills

Those who have worked in graphic design and website design are perfectly positioned to take advantage of the work-at-home job market. That is, you can very easily turn your website design and graphic design skills into a business from home. Your services will likely cost another business less than using an in-house designer and if you provide the same – or better – quality, you can create a niche for yourself that others might not be able to easily fill.

Other technical skills that might be useful for at-home businesses include computer repair, specific software application training and other skills that you might have learned in a previous job, in college, or that you took specific classes for.

Entertainment

Many moms have had success turning their entertainment skills into an at-home business. Your ability to put on a beautiful party can be turned into a business that puts on tea party birthdays for young girls. Or you might set up a catering business from home. Or you could become a personal chef. Some moms start successful home businesses that are borne out of their theater or singing experience.

The key to turning your skills and experience into a legitimate home business is to be honest about your skills. Know what you can do and what you are weak at. Perhaps you know that you can run a lucrative web design business, but you can’t handle money. Maybe you can hire another WAHM to do your bookkeeping for you. In that way you help yourself and another mom at the same time.

List down your skills and those you might like to acquire and from that list, create some ideas for your at-home business. You might be surprised how much you bring to the at-home business table.

I have had an interest in work from home jobs starting my own business for quite a few years now. I just haven’t been sure what my niche would be. I have been thinking about something in the medical field after my mother passed away with Cancer 12 years ago. I was very involved in her care, and later in my father’s care (who I lost about a year ago). The doctor’s were always surprised that I not only had so much knowledge about their conditions, but also an understanding of what was going on with them. After going through the loss of both of my parents and watching them suffer I have wanted to do something to help others, somehow make a difference. Especially, for those who don’t have family. I have thought about volunteering in the hospitals or nursing homes and helping others stay on top of was available to them for to help make life a little easier or brighter in a not so bright situation. I went on to get married and now have two beautiful children. I am an at-home mom and my husband has just recently been laid-off, due to the struggling economy. I have sacrificed to be able to be an at-home mom that I would change for anything but would also like to feel as though I am contributing and have a career, have something for “me”. SN:0MA9N2ESY

If there is one industry that remains strong it’s the medical industry. I am sure that it has its back falls as well. I don’t think anyone is immune to it, but caring for people sure has to be there. This brings me to my decision for medical transcription at home. It is something that I can train at my own pace, since we never know what life has in store for us. But most importantly, I will be doing something to help contribute financial to my family, but still be here for my girls as they get older. Also get involved in the medical industry that I have had an interest in for so long. I think that it will help me develop an even more positive attitude during my training. I would like to get an MT education that will give me the career I can be satisfied with not only financial but enjoying what I do every day, and become an experienced in MT transcriptionist. I see myself advancing and making a nice “nest egg” for my future, and doing all this in the comfort of my own home, and maybe eventually branching out with it.

Becoming a medical transcriptionist would allow me the opportunity to find work from home jobs and work for a real company while still being able to contribute to my family’s income. I have researched several medical transcription employers and can see the possibility of a great future as a medical transcriptionist. I currently work for a health insurance company that may be facing a reduction in its workforce. The health insurance industry is being affected by the economy just like most industries. At this point downsizing seems inevitable. I believe that it is time for me to pursue other employment opportunities. By enrolling in a MT course I will be prepared to pursue the medical transcription profession. Working from home is a major advantage of working in the medical transcription industry. Most jobs in this profession are performed at home. This opportunity would allow me to be more available for my family. I would have more time to attend school events and activities for my kids. Working from as a medical transcriptionist would also decrease some of my expenses such as gas, food and clothing. I realize that each company varies in work schedules, compensation, as well as employment status. I have seen some companies that provide benefits as well as equipment and additional training. I think that there is a lot of flexibility in this industry. I also think that this profession has a great future even as technology improves I believe that medical transcriptionist will still be needed. I am interested in training with Future MT because of its positive reviews and wonderful testimonies. I really like the design of the course. This course is clearly designed to help students succeed. I have reviewed other courses that just did not compare to the format that Future MT uses. I am also impressed that help is readily available for course work and finding employment. Having worked in health insurance for several years I believe that the medical transcriptionist plays a vital role in health care. Often times insurance companies request medical records for patients in order to make a decision to pay a claim or not. Those records must be accurate so that these decisions can be made as quickly as possible. The medical transcriptionist is an important piece of the puzzle. In the next year I would like to complete the Future MT course and find MT employment. I would like to work full time as a medical transcriptionist for a few years learning different specialties and perhaps working in various positions. In the future I would like to start my own business and become a medical transcriptionist recruiter. I would like to connect quality medical transcription companies with quality medical transcriptionists. I also would like to help others find their way into the medical transcriptionist industry. I would like to combine all of my skills and education and create a career that I will enjoy for many years to come.

Right now I am currently in school part time in the cosmetology industry.  And I have to be away from my family and I don’t like that.  Now my husband lost his job so I have to start working so a full tuition scholarship program would really help me out.  I love spending time with my family and I would really like to work where I love to be.  I have previous experience in the medical field as a volunteer for my mom’s work.  I really want to train with Future MT because I have heard a lot about it from a friend.  I really would like to get training in a lot of industries at the moment to keep all my options open.  I have a three year old, who is a terror like any other three year old and attention hungry, and a three month old, who is just such a beautiful baby who is growing every day and I really don’t want to miss anything in either of their lives by working out side of my home. As my husband goes out to find another job, I have to look for work from home jobs on the internet.  I just really think that this would be a perfect job.  And I know a lot of people say that as soon as I’m finished with cosmetology school I’m not going to do this anymore but the truth is I really enjoy the medical field.  I really want to achieve my goals in getting as much training and education in as many field that i can and that interest me.  As far as my goals in the MT field I want for right now just to get the education I need for it.  Then I want to be a work at home medical transcriptionist for a year or two or maybe even three.  After I have enough experience in the industry I want to slowly open my own MT business.  And this is my first step in reaching these goals.   My career in cosmetology and my career in the MT field both allow me to work out of my home.  It is very important for kids to have their mother in the home.  I really love spending time with my family and I really love working and making money.  I am a really hard worker and I will work and work to achieve my goals and that is what I am going to do.  With two kids it’s hard to leave them at home or in some day care and I want to be the one to teach them things not some stranger in a day care.  I always hate leaving them when I go to school so I really don’t want to work a full time job outside my home.

I want to be a MT because they are high in demand and I won’t have to worry about losing my job from  medical transcription employers. I love typing and doing things on the computer. I also don’t want to work in a factory my whole life. I like the reality that I can stay home and earn money while taking care of my son.

I have always liked the idea of work from home jobs. I have a three month old son. It would be very hard to find a babysitter to watch him. My parents both passed away so he has no grandparents. Also his aunts live to far away to drive before heading to work. I grew up around a lot of people that did not do anything with their lives. I do not want to follow in those footsteps. If I would be able to work from home I would not have to worry about a babysitter. I could take care of him and raise him the way I would like to. I would be able to take him to doctor appointments and be with him when he is sick. I will not have to worry about calling off work whenever I need to be home with my son.

I want to train with future Mt because I like the fact that I can train online. I in addition have the option to try to get a full scholarship. If I cannot get a full scholarship I am not sure if I would be able to train online. I do not work so I would not have the funds and I would not have anyone to help me. Going to school would not be an option for me at this time for the reason that I would not have any one to watch my son. I would have to pass the time for him to start school in a few years before I would be able to go to school. I would like to provide for my son and myself before then. I would like to see myself working as a MT at home in the next few years. I see myself staying in this industry for many years. I want MT to be my career. I think it is a very good opportunity for moms like me that do not have very many options other than staying at home. Working at home saves a lot of time and hassle for moms. If I would get the full scholarship it would help me a lot. I would stick to the program and work hard to achieve my goals. I have been thinking about MT for a few months now. I think it is a good time to try to do something with my life instead of waiting around wondering when I will have enough money to do what I want to do in life. Working at home can be a great thing all the time, but especially during a financial crisis. Take a look at the world around you today, and the detrimental state that the economy has been in for the past few months especially. If you had a regular job you may have ended up getting laid off, but with at home employment you really would not have to worry about this.

Start Your Own Business: The third easy tip is for the really ambitious entrepreneur. Many will want to start up their own business. Now a days, thank goodness, this does not require you to even have a lot of finances, and this can be a great idea for work at home moms and work at home dads that are considering at home employment. There are so many types of businesses, from eBay to online franchises that it is worth it to do your research here. Just be sure to find something that YOU really enjoy.
