Here are three errors that get in the way of people saying yes to you:

1. You do not have a website. Well, this is a clear one. But there’s a part of this error that may not be as obvious. Let’s say you don’t have your own website, but you have your own page (section) on a book organization’s website. Is this good enough? Probably not, and here’s why:

On an organization’s website you have to fit your own round pegs into square holes (or the other way round). You are limited by what that site allows you to do, and you may be making it too easy for people to jump away from your author page to someone else’s author page on the same site.

2. You hire the web design / development, and its beautifully-designed website. But he/she has no knowledge about internet marketing practices and optimizing a site to encourage the search engines to find you (SEO – search engine optimization). You need to find a Web site builders who keep abreast of best practices and search engine optimization online marketing optimization and who set up the content to your site.

3. Do not allow visitors to your book immediately know what type of site and age-level of your books. Or even whether the book is top thriller novels or nonfiction.

You must immediately announce your book is about. For example, if your book is a fiction ebook yellow zone and the first of a proposed series, let your website visitors know this info immediately. Of course, the number of one of the ways is to have a book cover to convey this information (a 12-year-old protagonist of the motion of wielding a sword is a big clue). Yet even if you have this optimized cover, you need to repeat the information in large type right at the top center of the page. (And be sure not to have too much surrounding copy that could detract from “getting” this message immediately.)

You do not want to mislead people into thinking the book might be for them when, for example, they only read hard-core crime drama and your book is a new fiction book. But you definitely want the fans of fiction ebook yellow zone to know instantly they are on the right page!

Many people mistakenly children’s literature is easy to create. It is often thought that storylines can be much more simplistic than adult fiction, that language can be unelaborated and that characters don’t have to be particularly three-dimensional. And in many ways this is true. Storylines for children’s fiction books do not have to be as complex as those used in adult fiction, language must be construed relatively simply, and characters do not need to come with all the baggage and background life stories that adult literature demands. But what is forgotten is complex readers to write in which one is the children’s literature writing. A child sees the world in a very different light to most adults. That world needs to be captured and represented in children’s fiction. To represent such a world through new fiction book is hugely challenging, and I take my hat off to all who do it successfully! As with any form of writing, there are several steps that you need to follow when planning and writing a children’s book. You must do your research, you need to develop a story or plot, you need to create main characters, you need to ensure the outcome will satisfy readers. Alongside these key steps, there are two additional areas that need to be thought about when creating children’s literature: – Language – A Contemporary Setting Let’s discuss these in turn! Language is a great writer, they can use concise success! Children’s novels, by their very nature, short-term. A picture book will be carrying a few hundred words as a maximum; a book for a six year old reader will be coming in with a word count of around 1,000 words. Such a small word count leaves you without any room for error – EVERY WORD COUNTS. Let me repeat, every word counts! Every use of punctuation, grammar, sentence describing each, each and every word, breathing, sports, decision or want to 100% correct. When you are working with a word count of 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000 words, EVERY WORD COUNTS. Contemporary setting needs to understand and use modern setting for the potential of your story doesn’t mean your children’s books have been set here, now ‘. Children’s stories based in Medieval Times or in Out of Space (for example) are still hugely popular and successful. But.., a storyline should maintain a contemporary feel. Perhaps the most easy to do this is concentrated in the text of the contemporary problems affecting the kids’ today. Would like to divorce, same-sex families, bullying, and gradually the family, sickness, the Internet, drug addiction, alcoholism, sexual relations, violence, or the modern technologyComputer technical articles, and learn about each of the key issues can be brought into the world to make children believe that the novels. Summary – The Main Steps to writing fiction children’s books:

1 – Research. Know your market. Read current children’s fiction releases for the age group you are interested in writing for.
2 – The plot or storyline should have a contemporary feel
3 – Use a mixture of creative language and speech to bring your characters to life. They must immediately visible young readers.
4 – Ensure result is satisfactory. Ensure that all of your problems are solved on the last page…don’t leave your poor reader hanging!
5 – Edit and re-edit the language, until you are satisfied with the usage and placement of every word!
