Most of the people get started in the network marketing industry with the thoughts of making a lot of money and retiring from their full-time jobs and careers. Once you have been in long enough you realize that most of the people will never realize those results. So what failed them why did they not achieve the results that they thought would come?

There might be a number of reasons that they have failed. They will possibly blame it on their upline, the system, the company, or even the product. One continued will remain ; but they’ll never blame themselves.

Your own actions are the number one reason of failure. To start on the right trail you need to figure exactly why you want to build a network marketing business. The majority will plan all these big goals on how much they’ll earn and how shortly they’ll get there and then wrap your personal life around those results. In The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy, he states you need to really plan your private goals first and then adjust your business aims around your chosen private destination.

By building your personal goals first you have a excellent idea of when you have absolutely satisified your required results. If you’ve not got anything to be struggling for in your business you will not succeed. Those goals you set must also be a driving force for you. They need to so big that you will do everything possible to achieve your required results.

In horse racing, they’ll place what’s called blinkers onto the face of the horse. This will be a cup which covers the eyes round the back and side. The purpose of this is so the horse will not face any distractions eg the crowd and will definitely be in a position to focus solely on their destination which is the finishing line.

Whatever goals you have set for yourself must be so big you’re ready to put blinkers and concentrate on achieving the results that you desire without any distractions and no turning back. You can’t be at the mercy of anything which will distract you and make you slow down your pace so losing the race.

So what are your personal goals? Are they big enough where you will put the rest apart to focus on results that you need in your business or when the race becomes tough will you permit any tiny distraction to slow you down? I want to challenge you to make sure your goals are large enough that you put on the blinkers and focus solely on what matters your goals and the results needed.

Cruise to Cash: Cruise to Cash is one of the most talked about MLM companies online. It’s popularity comes mostly from its combination of the ability to vacation and make money selling vacation packages (these are also called coupons).
     The company requires that you join and pay a membership fee.
     You earn money by recruiting others who want to give away “vacation coupons.”
     You do not earn money giving away vacations. You only earn by recruiting others into the program.
     This is where cruise to cash becomes controversial. Many of the travel coupons are similar to vacation packages available on other travel sites. Usually, these travel coupons correspond with other sites current deals. They are typically overpriced. One review of Cruise to Cash revealed that a cruise to the Bahamas through Cruise to Cash was sold for $10 more than the same package sold through a popular vacation site.
     While the system may sound good, all of the reviews show that the endless coupons that one can print and give away through Cruise to Cash are nothing more than something to give away to entice others to join the system. They, in turn, join your downline an their fees for being a member of the club are then passed up to you.
     The benefit of this program is that people can encourage people to join based on unlimited vacation coupons. It has been stated that it is one of the easiest programs for recruiting a large down-line out there today. This does not mean that the program is any easier to recruit into, meaning that most people will see the large membership fee and simply choose not to join. Combine that with the fact that most, if not all of the packages or “coupons” are overpriced and you’ll quickly see why Cruise to Cash may not be around for the long haul.

To become an associate is free but to get commission, you would refer 1 person to become a member. Member’s charge costs $1,000 for the initiation fee and a further $150 for the regular payments.

There are twelve levels of “power” ; the lowest being the affiliate and Bronze Affiliate and the loftiest levels are the Presidential Platinum affiliate and the Head honcho affiliate . Business networking and pro setups exist for the good of the members and society generally. However, it is a good idea that folks do background probes to establish whether the organization they’re joining will benefit them or will swindle them out of their hard earned money.

Sorry for pause between editorials but I wanted to give you plenty of time to get to your first event, do some marketing with your business and partner with your up-line also. Most companies have a qualification period for brand new people. It generally runs about 30 to 90 days. If you have met your qualification already excellent job and keep the momentum going. If you have not qualified stay optimistic keep in mind the only way to be unsuccessful in this business is to quit (You Can Do It!). Some people will build quicker than others just make sure you are doing your finest.  This is a real business and if you were to go and start a traditional business the growth timeline expectation is 2-5 years for your business.  One of my very well respected business guides said that people in Network Marketing run into a problem because they tend to run out of funds for the business before they start making a profit. The best thing is to always build on a budget. If you look at major corporations and small businesses they all have a budget. Perhaps they started with a undersized budget then as they grew and the business grew the budget improved because the profit amplified. What does it take to be a successful mlm professional?
There are various techniques that can be invaluable, although no task is insurmountable, provided the right resources.  A lot of Network Marketers register immediately after attending a presentation hosted by a well spoken and charismatic multilevel marketing professional who’s been successful in the market. These people join up with high expectations and are promptly met with the reality that the same individual that sold them on the company, isn’t continually going to be available to help them close the deal. It is apparent that this star salesman has a extended history in mlm and was not the immediate success that he appeared. They will find that the person who sold them on the success took a long time to create their down line and shifted that down line from business to business.

Why is that? People need time to perfect their craft. Would Hp make a new hire CEO with virtually no experience? You are not alone.  Most people have a hard time sponsoring.  The main reason being they think they have to SELL when in fact they should be SORTING. Here’s a sample of how the conversation should go, “Hey Tom!  Just wanted to give you a quick call and ask for your help.  I just started a new business and I’m looking to expand. Do any of your friends want to leave their jobs?”

Tom is now thinking two things:

1) Who can I refer?

2) If this is so important why can’t I do it?

You’ve just planted an MLM sponsoring seed.  Without throwing your opportunity in his face, Tom is now in your pipeline. His curiosity is now peaked and he wants to find out what you have. Check back in with him in a couple days and see if anyone came to mind. Get back in touch and give him the chance to see your business.  If he gives you even one lead, you’ve just doubled your chances!  How could MLM sponsoring be any easier?

What’s a common new MLM rep question?It’s probably, “How do I jumpstart sponsoring reps in my MLM business?”  If you’re still in the investigation stage of your network marketing experience you have to read this article.  There are, of course, the basics of finding prospects to sponsor into your business.Talk to your warm market first and show them what you’ve got.Your friends and family could be the easiest to talk to first.  Don’t be pushy, just show it to them.  MLM sponsoring is about mutual benefit.

Not a hard seller?  Neither am I!  Hard selling was one of the reasons MLM sponsoring seemed so daunting in the beginning.  If you’re anything like I was, you need tools and assistance in making your job easier when trying to sponsor new downline.Boost your MLM sponsoring with the following tips.

Product & Services: Choose a kick-ass product to sell.Focus on presenting your product or service AND your business opportunity.  Well guess what, it’s your product that gets you paid!  Don’t forget that.Use your product to get you in front of prospects.  Find a product you like and fully understand.If you don’t like going on vacation, don’t sell trips!Make MLM sponsoring easy by choosing product or service that sells itself.

Sort, don’t Sell:  Nothing turns me off faster than the hard sell.Can you even count the number of hard-selling telemarketing calls you’ve gotten in the past?The saleperson is doing all they can to get you to say yes.  Don’t be that person!MLM sponsoring should not be pleading.  Focus on getting your product or service in front of as many people as possible…then sort out the winners.Make your job easier by exploding your MLM sponsoring with a fantastic product or service. 

Be Magnetic:  Many of you have probably read my friend Mike Dillard’s fantastic book “Magnetic Sponsoring.”  In it Mike outlines the characteristics of a leader who literally attracts prospects.Increase your leads by becoming a killer magnetic leader.Become an expert.  Constantly improve yourself through self-help books, public speaking and writing.Act like a leader now, and strive to become a great one.True MLM leaders know the importance of MLM sponsoring.Think back to when you started and figure out whether you’d follow a leader like yourself.  Identify your flaws and take action to fix them.Don’t ever stop your education.Now it’s time to implement your new plan and get your MLM sponsoring off the ground.

There are a variety of compensation plans in the network marketing world.Do a full investigation before signing on the dotted line.  I’ve had experience in a couple but my new favorite, by far, is the Binary Compensation Plan.  Here’s why:

Easy to Understand: I’m a pretty simple guy and I like a plan that is easily understood.  A binary compensation plan is easy to describe to prospect business partners.  You either place new members left or you place them right.How could it be easier? Keep it super simple by telling new downline to place OUTSIDE left or OUTSIDE right only.  Again, it all depends on the prevailing thoughts in your respective company.I think the simplicity of binary compensation overshadows any possible downside.

Two Teams: In a binary compensation plan you only have two legs.  That means you can devote time as you see fit and drive growth in the shorter leg if needed (always consult your upline leadership regarding the property placement of new members).Shoot, you get a superstar on one side that grows a huge downline and then you only have to focus on the other side!

Upline Success: You might be in the perfect spot to take full advantage of the growth of those above you.If you’re placed in the right spot, you could benefit from your upline’s growth.  Again, it all depends on where your upline is placing new members, but you could realistically get a huge power boost by not even lifting a finger.

Focus on the Bottom: Work the bottoms of both of your legs.What’s the result?The action can ignite momentum among both new and old reps.  How does it motivate the new ones?  You and your team focus on helping the newest members by quick-starting their prospecting .Assist them in the growth of their business.

Synergy: Pretend you just sponsored Brian.  Brian may have a lot of talent but has, as of yet, not shown his potential.His organization is growing as yours is.  Why?  Because depending on which leg he’s on, at some point you will have to put new members under him.How does that help?  That starts the growth of his business.  At some point he should take a look at his business and realize, “Holy crap! I have 328 people on my team! I love this binary compensation plan!” Show him how this will allow him to only have to work on one of his legs.  Try sending Brian a quick email saying, “Congratulations on the growth of your business.” See what happens.

Synergy can be contagious.  Literally you can have a group utilizing the binary compensation plan and everyone is working together to build the collective team.  Awesome!

Do your due diligence and fully investigate your network marketing company’s compensation plan.  Dig into what it takes to grow your team.Checkout how you’ll be getting paid.  A binary compensation plan may work well for you or it may not.So check it out…and good luck!

An MLM based home internet business may not be the best choice seeing that over 95% of these network marketers do not succeed in the business. You might be better off to learn to day trade .

This fact alone scares people away from this business model.

Well thankfully if we all worshiped statistics fanatically, most people today will be afraid to drive cars or even go to school (e.g. the percentage of road accidents and how many students in a class ‘make it’ in getting distinctions)

Of course, we all want to be smart people and rather be in the top 5% being the ones making the money now .

It is sad that countless of poor victims join the industry, uninformed, and when they run into problems, they usually put the blame on the company, the team or even the industry itself.

That is why we hope to avoid such unfortunate circumstances.

Even if you have been involved, this information is invaluable because it might teach you things you have missed out or information to help your downline.

The key to building a large organization as quoted by Zig Ziglar, “You will get whatever you want in life if you will just help enough other people get what they want.” In other words, if you will help enough downlines get enough downlines, you are on the road to network marketing financial freedom. The key is to help others.

Why Would You Be Choosing an MLM in The First Place

MLM survival. Let’s face it, the world out there is like a jungle. More particularly so in the MLM world. It would be easy to say, since it is that difficult, let’s just forget about the whole MLM or network marketing deal in the first place (then this book would not be necessary at all). That action would be self-defeating.

There is good news for all of us. So let us instead start from a positive note.

There is no such thing as the perfect MLM but rather choosing an MLM that is SUITABLE for YOU!
