They join because of you and what you will offer to them so that they can become successful. If you are taking your business seriously, you are a leader and you are willing to help others who are ready to transform their businesses and their lives, you will explode your business because that is exactly what people are looking for! You are the one who is going to help them solve a problem, or in this case you are going to help them reach financial freedom.

Personal branding overlaps into helping others achieve their goals. The very successful in MLM know that this is one of the golden keys to building a loyal customer base, and a strong team of business builders. By helping others you are respected as a leader. People begin to want to join you in whatever business you are in because they trust you as a knowledgeable businessperson who won’t steer them wrong, will help them get to where they are, and will give them the best MLM advice.

The advice I am taking from gurus who really know what they are talking about, is literally transforming my business. The skills I am developing, the marketing campaigns I am implementing and the new excitement I am showing every day to my team and to all of my business activities will bring my business to that top one percent in a short amount of time. Seriously, that is a staggering fact so shocking I am going to repeat it. 97% of people in this industry go out of business.  Why is this?  A huge amount of people approach this business completely wrong and most~the majority} of the time it is not their fault. We just go off what we are told to do by our up-line.  It’s not their fault either because they are just doing what they were told to do and the routine continues. We continue to seek out for prospects to enroll in our business until our list of associates we were told to create by our up-line is used up.

Welcome back I am optimistic you have found value in the first part. I said that we would examine the 2 types of leaders. Now there are countless books, cd’s and training on leadership created by legends from Earl Nightingale and Mike Dillard to Les Brown and Jerry Clark. We will not go into much detail talking about leadership. You have an abundance of information you can read on your own. We will scratch the surface.

Initially you have to learn that “people do not join your business they join you.”  At the same time you have to know where you are in the fundamental leadership hierarchy. Mike talks about the two kinds of leaders being “alphas and “pre-alphas”. After those two you have followers. Briefly we will write about the “alphas” and “pre-alphas”

The “alpha” leader is one who positions themselves as an expert in the industry. This individual does this by giving value and a solution to a problem other people in the same industry may be having. This person has an abundance thinking process.

The “pre-alphas” are the up and coming “alphas”. This particular person has the dream and the will to lead themselves through difficulties. They are just now pressing the envelope with their comfort zone as it relates to leadership. This is very important mainly because how can you lead someone else if you cannot lead yourself.

I strongly urge you to buy the Magnetic Sponsoring book by Mike Dillard you will find it well worth your while. If you are not able to afford it at this time I want to say that you can’t afford not to get this book. Especially with a free of charge video series before you even acquire the book.

Sorry for pause between editorials but I wanted to give you plenty of time to get to your first event, do some marketing with your business and partner with your up-line also. Most companies have a qualification period for brand new people. It generally runs about 30 to 90 days. If you have met your qualification already excellent job and keep the momentum going. If you have not qualified stay optimistic keep in mind the only way to be unsuccessful in this business is to quit (You Can Do It!). Some people will build quicker than others just make sure you are doing your finest.  This is a real business and if you were to go and start a traditional business the growth timeline expectation is 2-5 years for your business.  One of my very well respected business guides said that people in Network Marketing run into a problem because they tend to run out of funds for the business before they start making a profit. The best thing is to always build on a budget. If you look at major corporations and small businesses they all have a budget. Perhaps they started with a undersized budget then as they grew and the business grew the budget improved because the profit amplified. For myself I’m building on a budget.  I will try to post 1 or 2 more articles before the week is done because I want to recommend some books to you.  Don’t worry you can earn and learn at the same identical time.

Hard to obtain items have value in marketing, it is well known and often you see advertisements for time limited, quantity limited products which certainly sell much better than those that are easy to obtain. Making a business opportunity seem more difficult to obtain or more limited in membership might be against most common sales advice a new marketer will receive, but Black Belt Recruiting relies upon this proven technique.

Even the warmest and friendliest representative who has established a great rapport with the prospect can lose the sale by being overeager or desperate.
