Support your kids working from home

I’m not sure where my life is heading but I’m definitely sure that there is a reason for all of this. I was just at a job that I thought I would be in for a long time. It was different from anything I had done as a nurse in my entire career.  I have done bedside nursing, home health, IV infusion, nursing home, flu shot clinics and even helped companies with research.  But this job was great because I could use my knowledge and experience as a nurse to help people with blood diseases.  I had no idea before I started my last job that people had to get their blood drawn just to save their life!  So my job was to make sure I kept their files updated and kept their file information on the database updated, speak to people about why they needed this therapy and what to do to get started with the blood draws.  I was in charge of the “Therapeutics department”.  However, I had other job duties that made it hard to keep up with that job and that is what finally made me lose my job.  The company thought that an RN should be earning her keep and gave me more than just the therapeutics to do.  It all caught up with me.  I’ll get back to this later.

On another note, my kids are great!  They are extremely smart and of course they are so entertaining.  Unfortunately they were blessed with the genes of both sides of the family and have a lot of mental issues.  My son and my daughter both have 4 diagnoses each!  It can be quite frustrating at times.  But as a parent I never give up taking care of their needs, even if my job suffered. Which it did. SN:0MA9N2ESY

Then there is me.  God didn’t give me the ideal body.  I have health issues of my own. One of my problems is chronic migraine headaches and that’s just the beginning.  Always trying to ignore the problems and just “live” doesn’t always work.  Unfortunately, the job suffered…So between the part of the job I loved and the rest of it, plus keeping up with my kids and my own health issues, I lost the job.  Being a single parent with two wonderfully needy children and a person with health issues myself, I need a job that can work with me. I believe children need their mother to be with them in their younger years to be involved in their lives.  Go to piano recitals, dance practices, and Taekwondo meets.  Children remember when parents aren’t there to support them.  Yet the parents can’t provide those wonderful programs without MONEY! Right?  Are we supposed to be miracle workers?  The answer is yes,  with help…

So my answer is to find online medical transcriptionist jobs. I know that with my experience in the medical field that medical transcription would be perfect!  I know the terminology!  I love to work on the computer! And I can be at home and there for my family when they need me most.  Yet I would still be able to provide for my children and myself and have the confidence of being the “bread winner”. Getting a scholarship through Future MT Inc. would be the ideal plan for me. The idea of going at my own pace is perfect.  Because I already have the experience and a grasp of the technology, I can concentrate more on other aspects of the career.  I especially like the idea that I can get medical transcription jobs at home with the help of their site.  Rather than trying to go to local doctors offices and ask for work hoping that they need transcriptionists.
