Saving energy while still getting warm

During winter time energy costs usually rise.  Most people will be turning up the heater and with it their bills. But what people do not know is that there are ways to get warm and save energy at the same time. One way you can do that is by making sure that your windows ar energy efficient.People do not know that heat escapes poorly insulated windows.  So here are some things you can do to change that.

First thing you must do is to check if your windows are double paned.  In my San Diego replacement windows service a lot of the older homes were made with single paned windows. This would lead to a lot of energy wasted.  If you see that you have single paned windows you have to replace them as soon as possible. This will save a lot on energy bills as long as your new windows are intact.

Obviously I have clients of my San Diego glass company business who say that it is a big expense.  It is at first. But when you factor all the savings it will give you over the years it really is an investment. And it can also raise the value of your house.  It also doesn’t just save energy in the winter but in the summer as well.  It saves in the summer because it will help keep your home cooler.

Another good investment is frameless glass showers.Studies show that these glass showers keep the heat in.This would really be a benefit come winter time.  I have clients of my San Diego frameless glass shower service who let me know how much better it is with a glass shower.

So there goes some of the ways to save on energy bills while staying warm.It would really be an investment if you just factor in the savings you get on energy.
