By now you’ve probably made a list of all the people you want to contact about your new business opportunity (if you haven’t, do it now). REWIND Divy up your list into columns A & B. In your A column list those prospects you think have a vast network of contacts. Column B should have your second tier contacts who may just be possibles.
Once you’re ready to make contact let’s start with your column A prospects.
Here’s a sample of how the conversation should go, “Hey Tom! Just wanted to give you a quick call and ask for your help. I just started a new business and I’m looking to expand. Do any of your friends want to leave their jobs?”
Tom is now thinking two things:
1) Who can I refer?
2) If this is so important why can’t I do it?
You’ve just planted an MLM sponsoring seed. Without throwing your opportunity in his face, Tom is now in your pipeline. His curiosity is now peaked and he wants to find out what you have. Check back in with him in a couple days and see if anyone came to mind. Get back in touch and give him the chance to see your business. If he gives you even one lead, you’ve just doubled your chances! How could MLM sponsoring be any easier?
