I would love to work for myself. I want to work from home and I would love a career in the health care field. Being a work at home medical transcriptionist is all of the above. At a young age I had thought of becoming a Medical Transcriptionist right out of high school, my older sister is a Medical Transcriptionist and she loves her job and she gets to stay at home with her daughter. As I was saving up money to go back to school working meaningless jobs I became pregnant at the age of 18. My husband and I got married when I was 4 months pregnant and 5 months later I gave birth to my daughter. I continued to work but could not afford daycare so I became a preschool teacher a couple years ago so I could have free daycare but being a preschool teacher you do not make very much money.
The advantages of being a Medical Transcriptionist would be that I could be financially secure. I would be able to work by myself; lately I have been around some negative people that bring me down all day. I would not have to pay for daycare and when my daughter starts school I can take her to and from school and have the benefits of being a stay at home mom yet be a working mom at the same time. I am excited to train with Future MT because I could learn at home so I can still work during the day and not have to be away from my family 5 nights a week. I am a fast learner and I am looking forward to challenging myself to start a new career as soon as I can. Although I am a fast learner I am relieved to know that there is live mentoring staff to help me if I had any questions. I feel safe with this MT course because there is a guarantee that I will be satisfied with my training and that Future MT will help me find a job when I complete my training and receive a certificate completing my course. Helping me find that perfect Medical Transcription job is really the icing on the cake. To be happy with my job and happy in my life as a whole is what I would like to achieve by becoming an online medical transcriptionist. In the very near future I would like to start by receiving my education as a trained MT, and start my new career. Years down the road I would like to be an experienced MT, good at my job and valued by my employer. If I won this free scholarship I could not explain in words how much this would help me and make my dream become reality, to have job security, stay at home with my growing family and happy and proud of myself. I had a very rough last year trying to figure out where my future was headed but I have come a long way and know who and what I want to be. I want to be a good mother, a good wife, and successful in the career of my choice as a Medical Transcriptionist.
