Two years ago I pondered that very question “Can you really make money from home“?
For 15 years I had been working as computer consultant but because of outsourcing overseas I had a tougher time hiring out my skills.
I started researching different online income opportunities for a way to add to my income each month. And I tried a couple of different things:
- Ebay marketing
- Dropshipping products
- Data Processing jobs
- Completing surveys
Guess what?
None of those panned out for me. In fact, I would stay away from the bottom two (those are scams). I know people who make money with Ebay and dropshipping but I never seemed to master what it took to succeed with them.
However, I did stumble upon one business that turned out to be the one that I had been looking for all along. And I really did “stumble” across the business by doing a search for internet marketing careers.
The name of the business is ACME People Search (APS).
A fancy name it may not be, but the point is that ACME People Search is a real business that isn’t trying to sucker you into joining with some marketing gimmick like a catchy name.
It’s a real business run by an ethical, honest businessman by the name of Tissa Godavitarne of Herndon, Virginia.
And what sets Tissa apart from many of those so-called “gurus” out there is that he tells it like it is.
In order to make money with APS you have to be willing to work just like you have to do with any real business. It takes time to learn the skills you need to be successful in internet marketing. And that means educating yourself on Marketing, Advertising, and Promoting which is the life blood of any business.
If you are willing to do those things then Tissa wants to assist you in being successful with your business. For instance:
- He gives you a completely free people search engine built with your affiliate links in a very popular niche (30% of a all searches done online are people search related)
- He conducts LIVE Training webinars several times a week to answer your questions and provide insightful information on how to succeed with your business
- He spends thousands of dollars every month to continually improve the search engine so that YOU can maximize your income potential
- He started a support forum to provide support to all the members with terrific information on how to succeed with APS as well as internet marketing in general

The list goes on and on.
I don’t know of any business where the owner offers as much to their affiliates as Tissa does. In fact, I often say “If you can’t make money online with ACME People Search, then you can’t make money online”.
Since my last contract finished up in March 2009 I have been working full-time from my home and have never regretted it. I now make thousands of dollars a month in income and I wish I had discovered internet marketing a long time ago.
But the point is that if you want to make money from home it is possible IF you find a legitimate online business AND you are willing to put in the effort to make it work.
You won’t find a more legitimate business than ACME People Search.
